Diesel particulate filter (DPF)
P2455 Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Pressure Sensor A Circuit High
The ECU monitors the voltage of the DPF differential pressure sensor. P2455 is set when the signal stays above the maximum expected voltage.
Common causes
- Signal wire shorted to voltage
- Open sensor ground circuit
- Faulty differential pressure sensor
- Damaged connector or water ingress
Typical symptoms
- Check engine light (MIL) on
- Regeneration disabled
- Reduced power or limp mode on some vehicles
P2455 and NuoVolta
When the DPF and its pressure sensor have been removed for off-road or motorsport use, where permitted by law, the NuoVolta DPF / ADV Removal solution adjusts the ECU calibration and the DTC removal feature can disable this code. Otherwise, check the sensor wiring and ground first.
