AdBlue is a fluid used to reduce emissions in diesel engines. Also commonly known as "Diesel Exhaust Fluid" (DEF). AdBlue is used in SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in modern diesel engines.

ADBLUE (Diesel Exhaust Fluid)
FUNCTION OF ADBLUE (Diesel Exhaust Fluid)
1. Function:
AdBlue is a solution of urea and pure water injected into the exhaust system of diesel engines, converting harmful NOx emissions in exhaust gases into harmless nitrogen and water vapor.
2. Working Principle:
SCR System: AdBlue solution is injected into the exhaust system while the exhaust gases of the diesel engine pass through the SCR catalyst.
Chemical Reaction: AdBlue turns into ammonia (NH3) at high temperatures. This ammonia reacts with NOx in the SCR catalyst and turns into harmless nitrogen (N2) and water vapor (H2O).
Emission Reduction: This process significantly reduces NOx emissions, minimizing harmful gases released into the environment.
