EVAP REMOVAL

EVAP (Evaporative Emission Control System)

It is an emissions control system that prevents a vehicle's fuel vapors from being released into the atmosphere and captures the vapors. This system absorbs the vapors formed in the vehicle's fuel system, stores them, and then returns these vapors to the engine's combustion chamber when the engine is started. In this way, the release of harmful emissions into the atmosphere is prevented and compliance with the vehicle's emission standards is ensured.

FUNCTION OF EVAP (Evaporative Emission Control System)

1.Storage of Fuel Vapors:

Fuel vapors formed by the evaporation of liquid fuel in the fuel tank are stored by the EVAP system. These vapors return to the tank when the vehicle is parked or the engine is stopped.

2.Absorption of Fuel Vapors:

When the engine is running, the EVAP system sucks in fuel vapors through a valve connected to the engine intake manifold. These vapors are then sent to the combustion chamber of the engine and participate in the combustion process.

3. Control of System Pressure:

The EVAP system also controls the pressure in the fuel tank. This regulates the absorption and storage of fuel vapors and ensures that the system operates effectively against leakage.

4.Emission Control:

The EVAP system helps reduce the vehicle's exhaust emissions. It reduces environmental pollution by preventing the release of fuel vapors directly into the atmosphere.

NUOVOLTA SOLUTION OF EVAP (Evaporative Emission Control System)

  • DTC codes should be read and removed with a diagnostic tool
  • Apply the solution of the module related to NUOVOLTA
  • Write the mod file to the ECU
  • Check the dashboard and DTC logs. Take it for a test drive
  • If all the checks are OK, it means the problem is solved
