START & STOP DISABLE

START & STOP DISABLE

The start-stop system is a technology that allows the engine to be automatically stopped and restarted in automobiles. This system aims to reduce fuel consumption and emissions by stopping the engine from running when the vehicle is stopped (for example, at traffic lights or in traffic congestion).

FUNCTION OF START & STOP

  • Engine Stop: When the vehicle stops, the start-stop system automatically stops the engine. This can happen when the driver puts the gear into neutral or presses the brake pedal after parking the vehicle.
  • Engine Restart: The system automatically restarts the engine when the driver releases the brake pedal or shifts into the next gear. In this way, the driver can move quickly when the vehicle needs to move.
